Wildflowers & Co. Indigenous Collective
Wildflowers & Co. was founded on the inspiration of Indigenous women. Our mission is to support local makers, it's not a trend. It's at the heart of what our family believes in - we believe in supporting all families in small businesses. Particularly, paying attending to those in the BIPOC community who do not often receive equal retail space compared to other talented makers.
Being an Indigenous women in business means continuing the work of our matriarch's before us. We must continue to share our cultural knowledge in a world that forces us to walk in two lanes. One road is remaining true to our roots and integrity but another road that is colonial and needs us to decolonize these business systems with our Indigenous compassion, love and history. Wildflowers & Co. aims to create a safe space that highlights authentic Indigenous artists.
Visit us often, this collective will continue to grow as we grow. Our mission is to empower Indigenous artists increasing space to choose a 3-party platform to share and sell their history, art, culture and knowledge. Most often, people shopping for Indigenous artists from companies who are owned and operated by Non-Indigenous people. More often, these always the singular option for people in our communities to sell artwork.. The Indigenous Collective supports that mission by purchasing directly from Indigenous artists by sourcing traditional medicines, jewellery, artwork, home decor, and more.
